Dr. Kathram Swapna Rekha

Dr. Kathram Swapna Rekha has specialised training and hands-on experience in advanced fertility treatments including IVF, IUI, and IVF-ICSI. She completed her MBBS and MS in Obstetrics & Gynaecology from Guntur Medical College, affiliated to Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, and further strengthened her fertility expertise through a Fellowship in Reproductive Medicine (FRM) and an Advanced Diploma in ART and Reproductive Medicine from the University of Kiel, Germany. She is also an IMS-certified Menopause Practitioner, reflecting her comprehensive expertise across all stages of women’s reproductive health. Dr. Swapna Rekha has worked at Ahalya IVF Hospital, Guntur, where she was actively involved in infertility evaluation and treatment, and also served at Ankura Hospital, Vijayawada, managing obstetric and gynaecological cases. She also holds an advanced fellowship in infertility from CRAFT Hospital & Research Centre, Kerala, gaining hands on exposure to IVF protocols and advanced reproductive procedures. Her clinical expertise includes oocyte retrieval, advanced gynecological (infertility based) ultrasound, and management of high-risk fertility cases. She has presented research at FOGSI and AIIMS Mangalagiri and published work on ultrasound based gestational age assessment.
